Lido Beach Resort

Had a lovely time at Lido Beach Resort. Took my mom on a birthday trip here to escape the freeze in NY and they upgraded our room to a two bedroom Oceanview suite. It was perfect. We enjoyed being right on the beautiful beach, and the view from the Drift restaurant was unmatched. The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. We had a lovely time and will be back!

Exceptional First 24 Hours at Lido Beach Resort I usually wait until the end of a stay to write a review, but after the first 24 hours here, I can’t imagine anything going wrong. Lido Beach Resort has completely won us over. Franchi, the manager, is truly outstanding. Every hotel brand should have someone as talented and genuinely caring as she is. She was incredibly sweet to my entire family—my wife, our kids, and my in-laws. She knew we were celebrating our anniversary and had special treats waiting in our room, which meant a lot to us. She also took the time to explain that the room we booked had the best view on the property but offered to switch us to a larger room if we preferred more space for the kids. That level of thoughtfulness is rare, and it’s no surprise her entire staff operates with the same attentiveness and warmth. On top of the service, the property itself is immaculate. Everything is spotless, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like a luxury escape. Our room is incredibly spacious, modern, and absolutely gorgeous — from the layout to the décor to the views. It’s the kind of room you walk into and instantly feel relaxed. We’ve always stayed at the Ritz in Sarasota… but not anymore. This place is amazing. We absolutely love it here and can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely great location right on the beach and with 2 heated swimming pools. I normally stay at the Ritz Carlton but they wanted $1,600 a night so I decided to look at other places and found this place for less than half the price. Very nice restaurant on the 8th floor and great service all around. The property was well maintained with water features and nice landscaping. Will definitely come back to this place. Stayed there first week of March 2026.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our first time visiting Sarasota, Florida, and we came here with our soccer team for a showcase. We stayed at Lido Beach Resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to respond to our messages instantly. We truly felt cared for every single moment. We stayed for three nights, and the experience was amazing. The property is beautiful, with gorgeous beaches, a relaxing pool, and a variety of excellent amenities. The on-site restaurants offer delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere, making our stay even more memorable. On top of that, the location is perfect—near charming towns and some of the best beaches in the U.S., all just a short drive away. All in all, if you have the chance to visit Sarasota, Lido Beach Resort should absolutely be your first choice. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to come back!

Another AMAZING stay. The weather was perfect again and the staff is just beyond "over the top"! Special shout out to Robert, our Tiki bar server, Jesse, for providing "off the chart" beach service, Ralph, the Concierge, for assisting me in having some beautiful flowers delivered for my "flower" and all the staff for their attention to every detail. Can't wait for our next trip.

Place was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Hospitality was wonderful. The 2 outdoor pools were spotless and the workers and servers at the pool were very friendly and eager to assist. The Drift room was awesome as well. Food and drinks were so good. The view from the Drift room was just stunning at sunset.

So this will be a long but worth reading review of the best service we have ever received! We were planning a beach wedding in front of the resort then staying there for the wedding night and having dinner at The Drift Restaurant on the 8th floor. We saw that day that the temps were going to be 50 degrees. I called the hotel and after explaining that we just couldn't do the service outside because it was too cold, if there were any options they could help us find in the hotel to do the service. Enter Marissa! She said I will figure it out by the time you get here. She had set up a room that she was able to close off (part of The Drift Restaurant on the 8th floor with a beautiful view of the gulf. She got a table, put candles out and was available the whole time before, during and after the ceremony. When we checked in the person at the counter hearing about our issue, upgraded us from a standard view to a gulf view suite! After the service we ate an amazing meal at The Drift and it seemed like everyone we spoke with knew we were getting married and congratulated us. No extra charge for the room for the ceremony or the upgraded suite! Everyone was positive and made our most important day even more special! Thank you, we will return!

We stayed here recently for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous ocean view and fabulous heated pools and hot tubs (which were nice during the Florida winter chills as well). This resort is perfectly located on Lido Key with included shuttle service to/from St. Armand’s Circle which came in quite handy. At night, there are lit lanterns and fire pits all throughout the outdoor courtyard area between the two buildings which made for such inviting, tropical evenings during our stay. The bed in our room was undeniably comfy and the decor and layout of the room was luxurious. The kitchenette in our suite, as well as some of the bathroom amenities had shown signs of wear and tear and could maybe use some attention, but overall we were thrilled with our stay here and would come back again!
